The CEOs shared a casual dinner of Korean fried chicken and beer at a restaurant in Seoul’s Gangnam district. This “chimaek” gathering symbolized their camaraderie and the formation of an “AI Kkanbu” alliance, a Korean term for close partners.
Major AI Infrastructure Announcement
NVIDIA will supply over 260,000 GPUs to South Korea to build out its AI infrastructure. Partners include Samsung, Hyundai, SK Hynix, and Naver Cloud, each deploying tens of thousands of GPUs. This initiative supports AI development across automotive, manufacturing, and telecommunications sectors.
The meeting coincided with the APEC Summit 2025, where Huang delivered a keynote on AI innovation. NVIDIA plans to use Samsung’s advanced HBM4 and HBM4E memory in future AI chips, reinforcing its semiconductor supply chain. Huang also expressed interest in meeting South Korean President Lee Jae Myung to discuss further tech collaboration.
